Hi. My name is François De Schryver, I'm Belgian, I live in Brussels, I've been a sound engineer for more than 20 years. I started recording demos for the band I was guitarist in. At that time, in the 90's, I had a 4-tracks recorder. Then I went on one of the first 8-tracks workstations. I then worked as an assistant at the studio Caraïbe, which was equipped with an SSL 4000.In 2005 I was graduated from SAE Brussels, and that same year, I started "The Colors studio", my own studio where I'm still working at the moment. Today, thanks to the evolution of technology and the internet, I am launching an online mixing platform to allow musicians around the world to benefit from The Colors studio and my experience. My musical tastes are quite eclectic: from rock, to pop, jazz, trip hop, new French waves, bossa nova and electro... As a musician I am also very much in tune with the arrangements and their implication on the mix. I think a good mix starts with a good arrangement. I'm working on Logic and Protools with an analog mixing board the Soundcraft 500B (refurbished). I offer severals rates with different levels of complexity in the mixes.
